Gianduja chocolate

Gianduja chocolate – a specialty of the Piedmont region – is an age-long symbol of the most prestigious Italian confectionary tradition.

Gianduja was invented in Turin during Napoléon’s regency, mixing chocolate with hazelnuts from the Langhe hills. It takes its name from Gianduja, a Carnival and marionette character representing the archetypal Piedmontese.
